In my 20 years on this Earth, roughly 17 of those years have been spent immersed in the world of music. Music has been an integral part of my life since I was 4 years old, and it was then that I decided that I wanted to pursue Country Music. Most kids play sports, but music is my sport. Festivals and competitions were my soccer and basketball games. And I did try soccer once, but, we won't talk about that...
My life has been shaped around the music I grew up on, and continues to be shaped by the music that inspires me now. I love artists anywhere from Vince Gill to Frank Sinatra. Music understands me like nothing else in this life, and is something I know will always be there for me. There is not another place that is more "home" to me than a stage.
Over the years I have met so many wonderful people and have been blessed by so many unbelievable opportunities. I have performed at Loretta Lynn's Ranch for the Conway Twitty Tribute Weekend, been on the nationally televised Shotgun Red Variety Show numerous times, and won Best Song for my original song "Beyond the Mask" at the P.A.I.N. (Preventing Abuse In Neighborhoods) Awards in Muskogee, OK.
In 2005, when I was 7 years old, I won "Entertainer of the Year" at the NACMAI (North America Country Music Association International) Awards in Pigeon Forge, TN. Most recently, I had the chance of a lifetime to participate in a vocal workshop with one of my all time favorite artists Alison Krauss in Harrodsburg, KY.
I could not have reached any of these feats without the devotion and foundation my family and friends selflessly give me. Their enduring love, support, and sacrifice is astounding.
I am so excited for whatever journey God has waiting for me, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you guys' support.
God Bless. Anna.
